Paloma Health was founded out of empathy for families navigating the challenges of accessing NHS assessments and support for conditions like autism, ADHD, dementia, and allergies. We recognised the patient anxiety and health impacts caused by lengthy NHS wait times, such as the 2-10 year wait for a children's autism assessment.
At Paloma Health, we believe no one should wait years for help. Our mission is to ensure no one has to wait more than 4 weeks to start NHS outpatient care in England. The name "Paloma," meaning "dove" in Spanish, symbolises peace and hope, reflecting our commitment to providing hope to patients on NHS waiting lists today.
Paloma Health is more than a provider; it’s a promise to families. We aim to make a difference with every assessment, and help individuals access the support they need to move forward confidently.
We currently offer autism diagnostic assessments for children and young people. We plan to expand our services to include children and young people’s ADHD and allergy, and adult memory.
At Paloma Health, our values guide everything we do. These principles ensure that we provide the highest quality support to the families we serve, driving us to continuously improve and adapt in our mission to make healthcare accessible for all.
We use new patient-friendly software to elevate care and streamline healthcare delivery.
Our founders have previously successfully built technology-driven providers in NHS obesity, diabetes, and ophthalmology, collectively treating over 1 million patients in the past 15 years.
We are supported by prominent healthcare investors who share our vision for transforming NHS healthcare.
This combination of innovation, expertise, and strong support positions us uniquely to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients.
Paloma Health is launched by a team united by a shared passion for improving NHS healthcare through technology and service redesign. Motivated by a commitment to making care more accessible and improving patient outcomes, they joined forces to establish Paloma Health in November 2023.
